- it's supposed to snow this weekend and that makes me oh so very sad in the face. not because I have plans or anything (although I was thinking about hiking around the lake) but because I FUCKING HATE WINTER. smart people would move out of the mountains. clearly I am not smart.

- worst co-worker ever is out tomorrow which puts us one down in our department but actually makes life easier. awesome how that works out.

- have decided on my Thanksgiving plans. they are to do nothing! I'm actually really excited about it. I'm going to get one of those pre-made Thanksgiving dinners that some grocery stores do and just eat that for like a week.

- I really wish this download of Hawaii Five-0 would go faster. *grabby hands*

well as everyone knows Supernatural fandom has an utterly disgusting track record with how it views the female characters. which I will never understand because when you look at it this show has produced some kick ass women. that they then kill off because they suck no. wait. that they then kill off because seriously tptb on this show sometimes really suck. Bela is a prime example of this. how great was it to have a foil to these two sometimes idiots that wasn't wanting them to get killed, she just needed them out of the way to work her own things. and fandom just about fell over itself to label her 'a bitch.' (not that I didn't refer to her that way a few times, but I was using the word as a compliment because Bela Talbot is one fierce bitch!) was it because she wasn't charmed by sam and dean? because she had her own pretty serious shit to deal with? because she put the boys in danger? (or rather their own stupidity did and she was just there to try and claim the benefits.) whatever the reason fandom did not like Bela. because fandom is often really dumb. especially when you look at how similar Dean and Bela are presented. and yet Bela is a bitch and St. Dean is well. St. Dean. I really would have liked it if they had kept her around. she made things more interesting.

I loved Bela with the fire of a thousand Kryptonian suns. Bless her scheming little heart, she made me so happy. (And when I see people who used to hate on Bela stanning over Loki*, I roll my eyes so hard that it counts as cardio.)

*And I love Loki and Hiddleston, too, 'cause I love complicated villains. Even when they have vaginas!
