- Happy Turkeymas to those who celebrate, and 'Hey sweet it's already Thursday' to those who don't. I'm on my own this year, which is not the first time, nor do I think it will be the last. It is what it is and for a little bit this morning I thought about sulking and just sleeping all day, but instead I pulled on my big girl pants and went hiking around the lake. It's beautiful right now with everything orange and gold and it was such a smart move because now I'm not being stupid. Also I saw roadrunners which are seriously the most adorable ridiculous things ever. <3

- turkey breast is roasting in the oven and I have mashed potatoes, stuffing and gravy ready to go. I totally forgot cranberries. damn. (I did however find something in my local grocery store that sounded too delicious not to try... Red Velvet Bread Pudding. I don't really know how that works but it had cream cheese icing on top and that was pretty much enough to convince me to buy it.

- okay well I think I'm going settle in and watch BtVS 4x8 "Pangs" because few things are funnier than Spike yelling at Buffy for making a bear!

roadrunners are so happy making. they're such silly little birds. ♥

and I think the verdict on the bread pudding was a resounding 'eh.' it was like the awesomeness of red velvet and then the awesomeness of bread pudding collided and just canceled each other out. plus there was enough icing to drown a small town. *siiiiigh* I think I'll stick with normal bread pudding from now on (which I would have gotten except it was covered in raisins and ewwwwwwwwwwwwww.)
