I am not dying for 6 college credits!

♦ so I had planned on using this weekend to unhook my old tv and set up my new one but I was sitting here reading Darcy/Loki fic when suddenly I was like 'I NEED TO SEE LOKI'S FAAAAAAAACE.' and it seemed ridiculous to watch on the old crappy tv so well. new tv is all set up and Thor is currently falling from the sky. and I continue to wish that I was Kat Dennings.

♦ had first dr. appt of the year. was with gastroenterologist and was basically just a meet and greet to go over the problems I've been having. next appt with her is on the 30th when she'll take a look inside. in the meantime I get to see the ladybits dr. next week.

♦ I have yet to narrow down my fandom for my picfor1000 fic. it's between 3 fandoms, only one of which I have ever written in before. IDEAS ARE GOOD.

♦ I'm taking a cue from pathstotread and posting monthly goals rather than making sweeping resolutions that I know I won't keep. I have better hope for this method.


- read at least one actual book
- leave feedback for at least 10 fanworks
- complete picfor1000 fic
- start work on refinishing small dresser
- no fast food for the rest of the month
- cook and/or bake a new dish
- go to at least one art or "cultural" event
- sort at least one box from storage
- start writing actual reviews for the ridiculous amounts of media consumed

I think I can do that

♦ so for school I have to get my courses authorized every semester because I go to the College That Hates Students and they make things as difficult as possible. or so I thought! I called today to see if there was an easier way than having to go in and meet with an advisor, a difficult prospect when I work full time and the person was so nice! and helpful! and took all my info over the phone! I found out at the end that she actually works in one of the smaller offices in a different town. no wonder she was actually human and nice. apparently it's just the main campus that hates students. GOOD TO KNOW.

♦ no really. LOKI'S FAAAAAAACE. also oh my god this movie is so pretty. ALL THE COLORS. (seriously people my old tv was so so crappy)

♦ Benedict Cumberbatch Also Joins Star Trek Sequel A;SLDKJFL;ASDJF;LASKJDF;LKJDF NO WORDS PEOPLE. THERE ARE NO WORDS.

bah, I keep forgetting to make a sonogram appointment - NO, not pregnant, ha ha. plus I need to eventually find and make an appointment with a ladybits doctor, too.
