ahhhh there's the post holiday depression. I was wondering when it would show up. usually it starts before the bowl games are even finished on january 1 but this year I got just over a week before it hit. that was kind of nice.

yeah, I'm just going to pretend today didn't happen.

stupid winter. it's not like I don't get like this EVERY YEAR. but knowing it's coming really doesn't help when I can't do anything to stop it. and I know I will be like this off and on until it gets warm again and I don't feel so... trapped. *sigh*

remember the House of Awesome? yeah. I'd like that to be real now.

HOUSE OF AWESOME. YES. Where Jimmy T. would wrap you in a blanket and cuddle you and have your favorite movie on, and Bones would go get your favorite takeout for dinner w/o even needing to be asked, and then it would be a night of cuddles and good food and... well. JIM GETS HANDSY OKAY.

EXACTLY. and Bones grumbles but you know he never means it because he's got that soft look in his eyes and besides you always share with him and block Jim when he tries to steal food off of Bones' plate.

and Jim is all huge smiles and big hugs and just before the end of the movie he leans over and whispers the filthiest thing you've ever heard and then well.

LIFE IS GOOD AT THE HOUSE OF AWESOME.

thanks. some days are fine and other days I want to burrow under the covers and never come out. unfortunately I'm (mostly) an adult and have to do things like work.
