oops I forgot to post yesterday. but as I went to bed at 8pm and got tons of lovely sleep I can't really bring myself to care. :)

oh happy friday. I have no plans but oh my I'm just so glad to not be going into work for two whole days. :) plus I randomly decided to wear a dress today and make myself pretty. and thankfully not too many people expressed utter surprise at my ability to look nice.





wow that kitchen light is really bright.

went to the lady bits doctor yesterday. she says that my pap smear was probably fine, but she did another one just to be safe and I have to go back in a week or so to get the results. if everything looks good then I don't have to go see her again until next year. woot!

I really need to get Captain America: The First Avenger. for uh... research purposes. yes. *swoons over Chris Evans*

speaking of swooning, Jeremy Renner people. I'm smitten. I know nothing about him and I prefer to keep it that way. I just want to look at how pretty he is and picture him all full of snark as Clint Barton. good times.

I think I might have brought it to one of the cons and then not worn it? maybe. I don't remember. all I know is that it's fitting better than ever before so I'm gonna wear it. :) although not without the sweater because it's a strappy dress and it's friggin cold outside.

stop being lazy! get it over with and then you don't have to worry about it for a whole year! yaaaay! :D

Oh my god, I always think people are going have a reaction when I dress up too. I hardly ever go to the effort when I'm just going to class, so when I do I feel like I'm sticking out like a sore thumb. A pretty thumb, but still. Ha!

Good luck with the pap smear. I'm not a baby about getting those done by any means, but my body always feels a bit violated after the whole process. I always feel like I need a cuddle afterwards, LOL.

I haven't watched Captain America yet. I should, shouldn't I? Yes.

thank you kateez! yeah I don't think people realize what a backhanded compliment they're giving out when they say stuff like 'wow you look really nice today.' as opposed to when I look like crap the rest of the time? *sigh*

the pap smear went fine. came back good and negative for HPV so I'm set for another year. yay me.

you totally should. it's better than I expected and Chris Evans is so damn cute and is just really good at capturing who Steve Rogers is. I love it a lot.

I recall a time that I stayed over with my ex while he was living with his dad and evil stepmother. I looked like hell the next morning cuz I had bedhead, no makeup, was wearing clothes from the day before, etc. We were having coffee outside, as it was summer, and the evil stepmother came out. I was all about being nice, and she looked all tanned and well-dressed, so I said something to the effect of "Oh, you look nice today." I remember like it was yesterday how she was like "oh...thanks" while looking me up and down as if to say "I wish I could say the same." I actually said, "You don't have to return the compliment; I know I look like hell," so blatant was her judgmental look. Gah.

Oh good, I'm glad the pap was clear. Stops the heart a bit, doesn't it?

I have CA on my iPod, so one of these nights I will get it watched. :)
