in other news I refuse to engage anyone about Elementary until after it airs. good or bad I don't want to talk about it. I will say that I fucking love both Jonny Lee Miller and Lucy Liu so I am very much looking forward to it. but I'm already tired of fandom uproar and it's been what? 12 hours? a day? (basically I just need to step away from tumblr where emotion is always cranked up to 11 and everyone speaks in hyperbole. which is fine for some things but I seriously while clicking through posts managed to find one that said I was a bad queer for looking forward to the new show, and another that said I was a bad queer for liking the BBC version. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH THAT. other then to say 'fuck off' and go do something else of course which is what I did.) ANYWAY. totally looking forward to the show, already hate the fandom. which... is pretty much how most things are these days with me. *shakes cane at kids on the lawn*

(Also, I'm with you on the NYC take on Sherlock & I can't wait to see what JLM does with the role. I have no idea why people would be so pissy about it, it's not like there haven't been over 100 different incarnations of Sherlock over the years...)

Okay, that's cool as fuck, to be honest. I'm really excited now. (Still sad to be losing her on Southland, but still. WATSON!!!!)

Also, fandom can go fuck itself. Watson can be a badass sniper chick who bitch-slaps Holmes when he needs a reality check. Jesus, people, a little imagination here. (Fandom is, on the whole, so fucking sexist, man. It's sad.)
