loveflyfree- Aidan Quinn has been cast in Elementary as NYPD Captain Gregson, who has some sort of back story with Sherlock. whatever I don't care, CBS please continue to cast people I love in this show. ♥
- tomorrow I have to go up to our office in Flagstaff with the co-worker who cries at everything where I'm pretty sure I'm expected to lead a training session. but that hasn't actually been formally discussed, just hinted at. awesome. it's not like I would want to develop a lesson plan or anything. I realize this company does everything half-assed but I enjoy actually having a plan. crazy I know.
- the weekend is almost here and I can't decide what to do. shopping in phoenix? (ugh that drive but wheeee shopping) lunch at the place with the hot waiter? (and perhaps learn his name) M said something about free beer and cupcakes at some store opening? (idek) so many choices.
- dr. appt today went really well. my cholesterol is at super awesome levels, my blood sugar is just a little higher than normal and so so much better than when it was tested back in december, my liver function has improved dramatically and my vitamin d levels are back up. the only thing not great was blood pressure which was no surprise and my NP is the absolute best and was just like 'okay so that's what we tackle next.' (previous doctors have made me feel like there was something wrong with me that I had these problems. and when I didn't immediately respond to treatment that it must be me and not the treatment that was wrong. but this nurse practitioner that I have now is the absolute best and just helps me see all my progress rather than only focusing on the things I still need to change. I adore her lots.) she's tweaking my BP meds a bit and I'm to go back for a quick check in three weeks. after that if things look good she said we'll switch to only 3 times a year. yesssssss.
- watched "The Great Game" tonight and then turned around and watched it again with commentary. oh Benedict. yes. talk to me about everything ever. also, please to continue your fabulous Alan Rickman impression.
- my short Molly/Sherlock ficlet has um. exploded. I have a couple of thousand words written and several more scenes left to write. I'm not really sure how that happened. (also it's ridiculous and totally self-indulgent. which hi. have you met me?)
