loveflyfreetoday has been a day. I had an appt at the gyno today where I was under the impression that my doctor wanted to discuss the results of my ultrasound (enlarged ovary and thicker than normal uterine lining.) so I was confused when the nurse lead me to the bathroom to give a urine speciman. my response was a very confused "why?"
SURPRISE! this appt is actually for an endometrial biopsy! FUN! if of course you define fun by your cervix being held open by what I can only guess was a medieval torture device while the doctor shoves a pipe cleaner with a brillo brush on the end of it into your uterus. and then twists it around. AWESOME.
work was superfun after that since it took like 3-4 hours for the twinging pain to go away. and it means another two weeks before I hear any results. by which time I fully expect to be a complete and utter crazy person.
in an attempt to counter the utter bullshit that was my day (I'd recount work but it's just too tiresome and I can't really spare another thought for those assholes) I spent most of my afternoon listening to Cabin Pressure. I finally finished the last episode and oh god John Finnemore WRITE FASTER. NEED SERIES 4 NOW.
plus any fandom that inspires wing!fic holds a special place in my heart:
