ugh. I am home sick. again.

I don't know why this is the year everything in me falls apart but I would like it to stop. I woke up this morning with a fever and dizzy and all I could do was call in and then crawl back in bed. the fever is gone now but I feel all wrung out and weak and stupid (which I know, I know, I have no control over this) and just want to cry. also I never feel more alone than I do when I'm sick. actually not alone. lonely.

in an attempt to cheer myself up I've been reading Darcy/Steve Rogers fic. why isn't there more fic about Darcy punching Cap's V-card? Or Loki. I'll take Loki as well. just not Tony because at this point I find myself much more likely to ship Tony/Bruce (or Pepper because ♥) ANYWAY. more Darcy/Steve is what I'm saying.

Also: I never even thought about Darcy getting at Steve. OMG. I could see her recruited by SHIELD because she already knows the shit, so why not? Who even knows how those fools get recruited? Probably randomly like X-men.

TONY/BRUCE SCIENCE BROS! they're ridiculous and the fact that they drove off into the sunset together makes me think it would just be RUDE not to ship them.

and most Darcy/Steve fic starts with the idea that she's been tasked on bringing him up to date on pop culture, teaching him how to use modern tech, etc. which sure. why not. but there is not nearly enough of it and that is my complaint.

That would not be my angle AT ALL. It would be Thor being a dumbass and her mocking him as a SHIELD agent and Steve being, I know you're a lady, but you're being pretty harsh here. Which leads Darcy to mock him as well and him being confused and then him having some malfunction and needing her to show him how to use and iPad or something and her being "oh, god, you're THAT guy, grandpa" but she has daddy issues and then he's so hot and she gets him drunnk

I have all the Avengers feeling. Tony and Bruce being science bros is my faaavorite thing. ALONG WITH EVERYTHING ELSE. Everything else is my favorite thing too!!! UGH THIS MOVIE.
